The excitement that I see and feel within my children is overwhelming, it takes me back to when I was a child. I remember how long the month of December seemed to take, and I can tell it is doing the same for them. Every morning Kaylee will ask "where are the presents"? Is it Christmas yet? A 4 year old doesn't have much sense of time, which I think is a good thing for her this year. We have started a family tradition this year of doing the Elf on the Shelf. It is a total hit! My children love him, and they anticipate what he will do next. He has been all over this house, including in the tree, on the fridge after he turned our mild green, in the sugar making a snow angel, coloring in their coloring books, playing with their toy cars, playing with the xbox controller, and playing the drums. Karson even knows that they are not allowed to touch Keebler because he will lose his magic powers! He says it with such conviction, in his little voice you can't help but to laugh at him. Everyday with them is a blessing, I am so thankful for my family and their health. I thank God for that!
